Facial & massage were both fantastic!

We had a lovely relaxing spa day last Friday. Everywhere was clean & tidy. Staff were all polite & very helpful. Our treatments were fantastic, we felt totally relaxed after our facial & massage..both ladies did an excellent job. We decided to have lunch, as we usual do during our spa days but they have now changed to only serve food in the hotel building. The staff did say we could keep our robes & slippers on for lunch but we decided to get dressed, since it’s a wee walk through the car park. Lunch..soup & a sandwich were both delicious. However, we felt very uncomfortable sitting eating lunch in our casual spa day clothes & hair sticking up everywhere (would have been worse if we had our robes on though!) after being in the pool & steam room, while a party of wedding guests (we pressume) sat at the next table having pre-drinks before they moved outside later. We would love to return for the excellent spa treatments but feel having to get dressed in the middle of a spa day again, would put us off…which is a shame.

Lovely relaxing day

We had a lovely relaxing day here. We started in the pool area. We then had a very relaxing massage and facial which was wonderful. We ended the day with a drink in the comfortable bar. The member of staff who served was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the history of this lovely hotel. Will definitely return.
