"You almost feel like you’re a guest in someone’s home with the family photographs and the way staff greet you as they pass you in corridors. We were shown to the Barrie suite which overlooked the gardens, it was beautiful. Rain shower, roll top bath, private sitting room area and separate bedroom, with a large king, maybe even super king bed."
"A wonderful, almost 400-year-old manor with friendly staff and ambiance that makes you feel more like staying at a friend's home than a hotel guest."
"This place is a dream. The staff were fabulous, the room was very nice, the shower was the best we had in any hotel we stayed at. Breakfast was great, the gardens were beautiful as it was beside the river - very peaceful, will be back."
