Arriving into the IJmuiden ferry port at 9:30am, you’ll be promptly whisked straight into the heart of the city by coach transfer.
With five whole hours to explore Amsterdam you can visit big sights such as the NEMO Science museum, Madame Tussauds and the Heineken Experience, feed your cultural appetite at the likes of the Van Gogh Museum, or take a more traditional approach and enjoy a summertime stroll across the pretty bridges and along the canals with stops to sip coffee in the sun.
Private cabin for two
With today’s itison deal you’ll sail on one of DFDS Seaways’ modern ferries departing daily from their port in North Shields, Newcastle at 5pm (check-in opens at 2.30pm). You can drop off your luggage in your private cabin which comes complete with bedding, towels and en suite with shower before exploring the restaurants, bars, shopping and entertainment on board.
After taking in the big city lights of Amsterdam, you’ll enjoy another comfortable night on board on the return journey to Newcastle.

- £20 per cabin supplement to use on Fri & Sat nights and £10 per cabin supplement for all sailings in Aug - payable to DFDS.

Sept – 7th, 12th-18th, 21st-25th, 27th-30th
Oct – 1st, 2nd, 6th-10th, 12th-17th, 19th-23rd, 26th-29th & 31st - You must book your trip by 19th Sept - you cannot book your trip beyond this date.

- Children permitted, pricing is based on cabin size and number of people sharing - will be confirmed at time of booking on DFDS Seaways' website. Infants 3 yrs old and under can travel free of charge but do not get a bed.
