Small print

• Voucher is valid until Tue 31 Jul 2018, 7 days, 9am – 6pm; subject to availability. 
• Advance booking required. Voucher must be booked by Fri 29 June 2018 (we don’t want you to miss out!).
• You risk forfeiting your voucher if you cancel within 24 hours of your booking.
• Multiple purchases permitted; multiple vouchers cannot be used for consecutive hire of the same bike.
• Option 1 and 2: valid for 1 day hire. 
• Option 3 and 4: valid for 2 consecutive days hire. 
• Please note while there are a number of models and versions of the same / similar bike; bike availability cannot be guaranteed.
• Suitable for ages 18+; all bikes are adult size. No kid’s bikes available.
• Helmets are recommended when riding bikes; limited loan helmets may be available free of charge in each store but it is highly recommended that riders wear their own helmets. Helmets are available to purchase in store from £25 – £30; payable directly to Edinburgh Bicycle Cooperative.
• Riders must sign a waiver in advance and bikes must be secured with a refundable security deposit.
• The rider must return the bike to the pick-up store (or nearest Edinburgh Bicycle store) within the agreed timescales. Failure to return the bike will result in Edinburgh Bicycle recovering the full retail value of the bike from the rider.
• The rider is responsible for any negligent damage caused to the bike. The cost of any damage caused (over and above standard wear and tear) will be recovered from the rider.
• Photo ID must be provided before the demo bikes will be released to the participant. Only nationally recognised forms of ID will be accepted i.e. photo driving license and passport.
• Each rider is responsible for providing their own insurance protection while using a demo bike. Any accident or injury caused by the rider’s actions will be the full responsibility of said rider.
• Riders will be fully responsible for any fees or costs incurred or arising from an accident either involving or caused by the rider.
• After the demo period you may purchase any electric bike with a discount of double the value of a single hire voucher applied to the current retail price of the bike being purchased.
• Comfy/sports clothing and trainers/flat shoes recommended.
• Edinburgh Bicycle Cooperative may restrict the number of itison bookings on each day so please book early if you want a specific date. 
• The beginning and end period of a voucher’s validity is always the busiest. We advise members to book well in advance to avoid disappointment. 
• Vouchers must be printed for redemption; please print your voucher and bring along with you to avoid disappointment. 
• Voucher is not exchangeable for cash or valid with any other offers.
