Today’s deal will see you and a lucky loved one escape to the beautiful 4* Macdonald Houstoun House for a relaxing overnight break. If you fancy a Sunday night treat, you’ll be shown to your cosy classic abode upon arrival, where you can settle in and put your feet up. Make it a mid-week or Saturday stay and you’ll upgrade to a plush executive room, complete with luxury bathrobes and slippers plus a generous proportioned room for you to unwind in.
Award-winning food
Dining from the restaurant’s delicious market menu, you’ll each choose two sumptuous courses, starting with the likes of West Coast mussels with Bellhaven garlic cream, before moving on to mouth-watering mains like braised pork belly with stir fried bok choy, mash and Asian sauce. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, round things off with a decadent dessert instead and indulge in lemon tart with berry compote or warm apricot, apple and cinnamon sponge with crème anglaise – delicious!

Set in 22 acres of secluded grounds, the 4* Macdonald Houstoun House is a gorgeous 16th century former tower house that boasts opulent surrounds, beautiful gardens, a fabulous health and beauty spa, as well as clay tennis courts that guests are free to use whenever they please.
Situated just outside Livingston and only a 20 minute drive from Edinburgh, you won’t have to go far to enjoy a little slice of heaven!
