Today’s deal will see you head to the outskirts of Troon to the Old Loans Inn for a delicious two-course meal for two. Winner of Prestige Hotel Award’s Casual Dining Restaurant of the Year 2017, you can be sure that you’ll be tucking in to a top-quality meal created using local Scottish produce, with a varied menu to suit all tastes and dietary requirements.
- Panko crumbed crispy pork croquette served on a stew of BBQ beans, Toulouse sausages and sage
- Cold water prawns tossed in a tangy Bloody Mary mayonnaise and served with brown bread
- Sweet galia melon served with raspberries and toasted pumpkin seeds, finished with blackcurrant sorbet and a crème de cassis syrup
- Scotch beef burger in a toasted brioche bun with gem lettuce, tomato, dill pickles, relish and French fries
- Soft pasta pillows of pumpkin purée and ricotta cheese served with wilted spinach, parmesan cream and garlic bread
- Fresh haddock in beer batter with mushy peas, hand-cut chips and tartar sauce with a slice of bread and butter
