We were upgraded at check-in to the most opulent junior suite with a cathedral glass ceiling, 4 poster bed & a real fireplace which the staff would set alight on request. A beautiful chocolate selection was waiting for me as a gift for my special birthday. The staff were welcoming & attentive especially Lakshmi. The only down-side at the hotel is the lack of evening dining options: After 5pm, at this time of year, the only dining offering is a 3 course menu at £75. There are plenty of options on the menu but it is not possible to have 1 or 2 courses. We were staying 2 nights & had the 3 course menu on the first night. The food was wonderful. However on the 2nd evening, we didn’t want another 3 course meal but the lounge/bar menu stops at 5pm. We considered in-room dining, to enjoy the spectacular room, but the room service menu was soup, a charcuterie selection & a choice of sandwiches. It’s a 20-30 minute drive into Oban where there is a selection of restaurants but then someone has to be the designated driver. Allowing the choice of 1, 2 or 3 courses would be the only improvement I could suggest to an otherwise perfect luxury escape.

I spent a night at Eriska with my Mum. From start to finish the stay was perfect. The staff were very attentive and made us feel like we were the only guests staying. The room was delightful. 100% satisfaction.
