The Exhibition
- Learn about Glasgow’s vibrant history from the late 1890s-1900s and the growth of the tea rooms
- Hear stories of the successful, forward thinking local entrepreneur Miss Kate Cranston and her unique collaboration with the iconic Charles Rennie Mackintosh and his wife Margaret Macdonald
- Together, they created the first tea rooms that women could attend unchaperoned - it remains a Glasgow institution to this day

Mackintosh at the Willow
- The original Willow Tea Rooms building on Sauchiehall Street
- A Grade A-listed, internationally recognised building that opened in 1903 and is of huge importance to Glasgow’s architectural and cultural heritage
- Mackintosh at the Willow have won multiple awards including the Project of the Year & Building Conservation Award 2019, RIBA Award for Scotland 2019 and the Scottish Government Scotland’s Client of the Year Award
