A family-run hotel for the past 10 years, The Fairburn Hotel is nestled in the pretty rural village of Mauchline, just a short 45 minute drive from Glasgow. Famed for its connections to Scotland’s national poet, Robert Burns, Mauchline boasts the house the bard once lived in which still stands in the area, along with a Burns Monument close by. Make a day of it with today’s deal by visiting these lovely historic sites and wandering in the countryside before re-fuelling with two delicious courses and a glass of wine each.
