    We are life-long foodies and Sunday lunch at The Gannet was the best meal we've had in Glasgow since moving here late last Summer: the cooking is both highly imaginative and technically precise, and presentation is consistently superb. The 'Ajoblanco with melon sorbet and almonds' was amongst the most surprising and delicious dishes we have ever tasted. There is a good selection of decent wines by the glass, and service from the lovely staff is efficient, friendly and charming. Whilst the interior décor is not unacceptable, it has an oddly rustic, passé feel which is markedly at odds with the absolutely cutting-edge cuisine, not unlike some establishments in Paris. But in a word, The Gannet is: "superb".
