Hi, I've been waiting for a Cail Bruich deal however I am struggling to see how this is good value or an actual money saving offer as this is being promoted at 52% off and there is no 5 course tasting menu on offer at £50pp. I ma especially confused as the first course is bread and butter! There is only a 7 course menu at £55 pp and that does not include bread and butter as a course. Please can you advise asap. To me this looks more like an exclusive deal of 4 courses plus bread and butter but I cannot see this as an original offer from cail bruich.

I’m happy to help clear this up, as our prices are all checked before our deals go on sale.

This deal is for 2 or 4 people and includes a 5 course 'Taste of the Season' lunch. This is based on the Seasonal Menu which is subject to change and is normally £45 per person for 3 courses, with the additional 2 courses normally costing £5 per person to add in.

This gives a top price of £100 for 2 and £200 for 4 and as our vouchers are £49 and £96 the saving is up to 52%.

Hi, thanks for your reply. So I cannot actually walk into Cail Bruich to buy this as it is a special menu not advertised called Taste of the Season? This doesn't seem like a transparent offer as if it is unavailable on their website and not available in the restaurant how can you discount it?

Taste of The Season is a set menu put together for itison, but as mentioned in my last post this is based on the Seasonal menu and is priced accordingly.

5 course 'Taste of the Season' lunch for two or four

Voucher is valid from Wed 2 May 2018 until Sun 8 Jul 2018, Wed – Sat 12noon – 1.30pm. Sun 1pm - 3pm (last booking); subject to availability.

Excludes Mondays, Tuesdays and 27 May, 10, 17, 20 – 29 Jun 2018.

Advance booking required. Voucher must be booked by Fri 8 Jun 2018 (we don’t want you to miss out!).

Online bookings only.

Please note that card details are required to confirm booking; no charge will be made to the card at any time.

You risk forfeiting your voucher if you cancel within 24 hours of your booking. 

Multiple voucher purchases permitted; max of 2 per person.

Option 1: Max 2 vouchers per table.

Option 2: Max 1 voucher per table.

All members of the dining party must order the same dishes.

Taste of the Season menu only; menu is subject to change.

A supplementary charge is required per person for the following additional courses: cheese £7 and scallops £10; payable directly to restaurant.

Members can upgrade to include tasting wines: 4 glasses for £25 per person or £5 glasses £30 per person ; payable directly to restaurant.

Vegetarian, gluten / wheat free options are available. Please advise restaurant at time of booking.

Table required back within 2 hours.

Limited wheelchair access; no disabled toilet facilities available.

Children permitted; ages 5+ only until 8pm.

Please note service charge is not included. A discretionary service charge of 10% will be added to tables of 5 or more.

The venue may restrict the number of itison bookings on each day so please book early if you want a specific date.

The beginning and end period of a voucher’s validity is always the busiest. We advise members to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Vouchers must be printed for redemption. Please print your voucher and bring along with you to avoid disappointment.

Voucher is not exchangeable for cash or valid with any other offers.
