Is there any elements of a flying lesson or is it just a passenger experience?

I can confirm this voucher is valid for an introductory flying experience as a passenger, and is not a flying lesson.

I was going to ask the same question as the ACS website states that the flying experience involves getting behind the controls. Quite contradictory in that case so has deterred me from purchasing.

What to expect

30 or 40 introductory flight experience for one or two 

Voucher is valid from Sat 11 Jan 2020 until Fri 18 Dec 2020, valid Fri 9am - 5pm; subject to availability.

Excludes Sat - Thur.

Advance booking required. Voucher must be booked by Fri 4 Dec 2020 (we don’t want you to miss out!).

You risk forfeiting your voucher if you cancel within 48 hours of your booking.

Options 1 & 2: Multiple voucher purchases permitted; max of 2 per person.

Options 3 & 4: Multiple voucher purchases not permitted. 

Suitable for ages 16+.

Max. weight 90kgs per person. 

Total duration including pre-flight briefing: 60mins. 

Options 1 & 3: time in air 30mins. 

Options 2 & 4: time in air 40mins.

Flights are operated by a licensed pilot. 

Flight time cannot be logged towards pilots licence.

Experience is weather dependant and may be rescheduled in the event of adverse weather. 

No wheelchair access. 

The venue may restrict the number of itison bookings on each day so please book early if you want a specific date. 

The beginning and end period of a voucher’s validity is always the busiest. We advise members to book well in advance to avoid disappointment. 

Vouchers can be presented on mobile device or printed for redemption; please show your voucher on arrival.

Voucher is not exchangeable for cash or valid with any other offers.
