A brand-new offering in Whitley Bay, Evan’s Bistro is a cosy, family-run restaurant serving up delicious dishes, with every offering prepared super-fresh on site using the finest local ingredients. Boasting a cosy little area packed with toys, set aside for your little diners to play when mealtime gets too boring for busy little brains, and a special kids menu to boot, this is an excellent destination for you and your loved ones to get comfortable, and while away a few happy hours over some fantastic food.
- Beetroot, fennel and cumin cannelloni with beetroot purée
- Broad bean and goat’s cheese crostini with rocket and balsamic
- Black pudding and asparagus salad with poached egg
- North shields mussels tossed in either garlic, white wine & parsley or tomato & chilli sauce, served with baked ciabatta
- Crispy twice-cooked pork belly with buttered summer greens with goose fat potatoes and peppercorn sauce
- Toad in the hole with Cumberland sausage, chef’s giant Yorkshire pudding, creamed and roast potatoes, and rich gravy
- Roasted Mediterranean vegetables in a rich risotto with garlic, hints of chilli, tomato compote and roast asparagus
