Tumble down the rabbit hole with today’s deal and fall into the fabulous Farmers Arms for a marvellous Mad Hatter’s afternoon tea. You and up to three of your friends will feast on enchanting Alice in Wonderland themed delicacies, including freshly baked scones loaded with jam and Chantilly cream, Northumbrian ham and pease pudding finger sandwiches and cream cheese and cucumber finger sandwiches, accompanied by pink flamingo lemonade in charming ‘drink me’ bottles to wash things down. Then round things off with a Queen of Hearts Victorian sponge cake, rose water flapjacks, chocolate flower plant pots, Eton mess and swirly lollipops.
“Really nice food and the staff are brilliant. You receive a very warm welcome when you walk through the door and the log-burner helps give it a homely feel. I had the Northumberland chicken and it was amazing. If you want somewhere to go for friendly and down-to-earth but professional service, this is the place to go. I will be returning very soon.”
