Today’s deal will see you and up to three loved ones tuck into two hearty courses at The Old Mill, Knitsley. You’ll be dining in the airy conservatory, offering great views over the countryside and giving you the chance to admire the scenery and even spot some local wildlife, while the log fire gives the perfect romantic addition for a hearty winter meal.

  • Mini goat’s cheese parcels with cherry tomato salad and red onion marmalade garnish
  • Fricasée of wild mushrooms on mini garlic breads, served with rocket salad
  • Thai spiced fishcakes with sweet chilli dip and chive sour cream
  • Homemade trio of sausages: traditional English, chorizo and black pudding, and apple and pork sausages, served with creamy mashed potatoes, garden peas, and rich red onion gravy
  • Chilli con carne served with either basmati rice or hand-cut chips, plus homemade garlic bread
  • Mediterranean vegetable lasagne served with sweet potato fries and dressed salad
