I would like to buy this for my granddaughter’s boyfriend for a Christmas present. Will I get a voucher and map to wrap up as a gift for Christmas and do I have to decide the city when purchasing as I would prefer him to choose. Thank you. Patricia Wilson.

A hard copy of the treasure map is available for a supplementary charge of £1.99 for postage; payable directly to The Great Game. Hard copy includes a treasure map with clues and answers, prize envelope with completion letter, extra puzzles and local area map with guide, compass, clipboard & pen.

Once we have the voucher, do we have to redeem it from the Great Game website? Is that where we can choose the route? Do we have to pay anything other than the £9 for the voucher if we only want the digital version?

You do need to redeem your voucher on the deal provider's website following purchase, but unless you want a hard copy of the map you don't need to pay anything else.

Suitable for all ages and under 10s go free; recommended for ages 11+

Duration approx. 2 - 3 hrs. It is recommended to start the treasure hunt so that you finish at the pub for lunch or dinner; please see website for pub opening times.

Includes a free digital copy of treasure map and prize envelope which will be emailed to you.

Hard copy of treasure map is available for a supplementary charge of £1.99 for postage; payable directly to The Great Game. Hard copy includes: treasure map with clues and answers, prize envelope with completion letter, extra puzzles and local area map with guide, compass, clipboard & pen.

Option 1: max of 10 people per group; recommended group size for the best treasure hunt experience is between 2- 6.

Option 2: max of 20 people per group; recommended group size for the best treasure hunt experience is between 4 - 12; please note this option is not available in Glasgow.

Treasure hunts are usually around 3 miles long so participants should be able to walk this distance.

Starting points will be given when you have purchased your chosen location.

Recommended clothing: weather appropriate clothing and footwear.

Wheelchair access available.
