GlasGLOW is open from 26th October – 6th November with time slots every 15 minutes from 5pm (and a 6pm start before the clocks change). Final entry is at 9.30pm and the event finishes at 10.45pm.

GlasGLOW is for everyone who loves a great night out, a fantastic picture opportunity and there’s even a land dedicated to marshmallows!

The show is family friendly but definitely not just for the kids – it’s a brilliant night out for friends, family, colleagues, date nights – and anyone who wants to experience a world class show right here in the heart of Glasgow.

Definitely not – this is a brand new creative taking you back to The Land That Time Forgot – expect dinosaurs, volcanos, creepy creatures – all set against spectacular sound and light displays 🦴 🦖 🔥

Young kids love GlasGLOW – it’s an amazing sensory experience with loads to see and do – they’ll be fascinated by all the lights, set and sounds ❤️

Some young children might find parts a wee bit overwhelming but mostly what we hear from parents is that their kids loved it and can’t wait to go back.

This year we’re inviting you into a zone called The Creatures Within as part of the show – it’s not designed to be scary but if Incy Wincy Spider gives you the heebies, it might not be your favourite bit. 🕷️

There will be an option to skip this bit though if you really don’t like creepy crawlies. 👍

Get your favourite warm coat on and wrap up cosy – it’s most likely going to be cold! The route is fully outdoors so make sure you check the weather and bring a hat or brolly – it is Glasgow!

The route is on hardstanding ground but we’d recommend sensible footwear – high heels don’t fare particularly well on the paths of the Botanics!

Absolutely – we love seeing guests in fancy dress! It is optional but we firmly believe any excuse to dress up is a good one.

Our Mallow & Fast Pass ticket is a way to enjoy GlasGLOW with fast pass access to the event through a dedicated entrance; including a Campfire Classic Marshmallow skewer and fast pass entry into Marshmallowland. Each guest in your group must have fast pass tickets. 😊 There are a very small allocation of Mallow & Fast Pass tickets available per time slot.

We’re very conscious about the impact our events have on the environment and are continuously looking at the cleanest and greenest ways we can deliver our events.  Measures in place include:

A ban on single- use plastics (containers, straws, cutlery, bottled drinks)

All caterers have signed up to source produce from local suppliers, offer vegan alternatives and use compostable packaging such as Vegware

All pumpkins used in the show are recycled and converted into reusable energy

A commitment to reduce, reuse and recycle across the show including reusing scenic elements from previous years to help reduce items going to landfill at the event of the event.

Tickets available digitally to reduce the need to print

Use of the latest LED lighting to dramatically reduce power consumption

Encourage active travel to get to GlasGLOW

Install equipment wherever possible that is part of the circular economy where it has been previously used on another event and will go on to be used in another event

Need to Know

For the best GlasGLOW experience for both you and the wee ones, we recommend you bring them in a carrier but you’re welcome to bring a pram if that’s not an option.

We’re really sorry but no pooches (except assistance dogs) are allowed. The event is busy, has flashing lights and lots of sounds, so while it’s great fun for humans, it won’t be a nice experience for your canine pals.

Yes, small bags are allowed, but please remember no alcohol will be permitted – we have a bar at the show where you can grab a drink.

We’re not afraid of a bit of rain, and the event will go ahead unless we’re experiencing extreme weather conditions.

Make sure you check the weather report and dress appropriately before heading out.

Like the GlasGLOW Facebook page for the latest updates.

We don’t have any strobe lights, but due to the number of lights along the route which may flash at times, it could be unsafe for anyone affected by photo-sensitive epilepsy.

We do also use some special effects to create the appearance of smoke and mist – these are all water based effects which cause no respiratory issues.

Filming & Photography

Yes! GlasGLOW has loads of incredible things to see - time to level up your TikTok game!

There’s a lot going on and tripods can get in the way of other event-goers, so unfortunately tripods aren’t permitted. Professional photography and videography isn’t permitted without permission. To obtain permission, please contact toni.lally@itison.com

The Botanic Gardens

This year’s show is fully outdoors and we won’t be going inside the Kibble this year.
