GlasGLOW is for anyone who loves a great night out, a fantastic picture opportunity, and who wants to discover Glasgow’s beautiful Botanic Gardens in a new light.
The show is family-friendly, but definitely not just for kids! It’s a brilliant night out for friends, family, colleagues, date nights, and anyone who wants to experience a world-class show right in the heart of Glasgow.
Plus, there’s a whole world dedicated to marshmallows!
Each year GlasGLOW unveils a brand-new creative and this year we're brining zombies to Glasgow in our very own Zombie Zoo.
GlasGLOW is an adult event with kid-friendly elements. Young children are usually mesmerised and fascinated by all the lights, effects and sounds – it's an amazing sensory experience with loads to see and do. ❤️️
The show can be busy and has fire elements in some areas such as Marshmallowland. We have lots of friendly, helpful stewards and marshals on the route, but please make sure to always keep a close eye on wee ones.
This year’s show has a couple of parts which some children might find a wee bit scary and/or overwhelming – we have opt-out paths and stewards dotted across the route for anyone who would like to skip these zones.
We also have a Quiet Space – away from crowds and sounds – available for anyone who would like to use it.
Although not specifically created for children, we usually hear that kids love it and can’t wait to go back!
This year's show is leaning into the spooky season with Zombie Zoo and may have parts which may be a bit scarier and/or overwhelming – we have opt-out paths and stewards dotted across the route for anyone who would like to skip these zones.
Wrap yourself warm – it's going to be cold! 🥶
Get your favourite warm coat and wrap up cosy. It’s an outdoor event in Scotland, so please make sure you check the weather and bring a hat and a waterproof jacket/raincoat.
Wear sensible footwear as the route is on hardstanding ground and fully outdoors.
Please, make sure to always stick to the paths.
Absolutely - dressing up is optional but we believe any excuse to dress up is a good one!
Our Mallow & Fast Pass ticket is the best way to enjoy GlasGLOW with skip-the-queue access to the event – go straight into the action of it all!
Mallow & Fast Pass includes:
Each guest in your group must have a fast pass ticket – except under 3s who go free (but sadly doesn’t include a marshmallow skewer)! 😊
There is a very small allocation of Mallow & Fast Pass tickets available per time slot, so get in quick!
We’re very conscious about the impact our events have on the environment and are actively looking at the cleanest and greenest ways we can deliver GlasGLOW.
We work with third party consultants in sustainability and biodiversity who guide us on the best practises, reducing our emissions and improving our overall environmental plan.

Measures in place include:
Since 2021, GlasGLOW has been powered by HVO instead of Diesel. HVO is a FAME-free and fossil-free CO2-friendly alternative to regular Diesel. It’s renewable, sustainable, and made from 100% renewable raw materials.
A ban on single-use plastics across catering (containers, straws, cutlery, bottled drinks) and reducing as much as possible across production.
All caterers have signed up to source produce from local suppliers, offer vegan alternatives, and use compostable packaging such as Vegware.
All pumpkins used in the show are recycled and converted into reusable energy.
A commitment to reduce, reuse and recycle across the show includes reusing scenic elements from previous years to help reduce items going to landfill at the end of the event.
Tickets available digitally to reduce the need to print.
Use of the latest LED lighting to dramatically reduce power consumption.
Encourage active and public travel to get to GlasGLOW with partnerships in place with SPT.
Install equipment that is part of the circular economy in which it has been previously used on another event and will go on to be used in another, wherever possible.
Our Gourmet Street Food Village is back and better than ever!
You can look forward to:
The beloved Sweet Shop & GLOWBar are back as well with your favourite sweet treats, hot chocolates and drinks. Did anybody say candy floss? 👀

Please note, if you’re planning to grab a bite to eat, last orders in our Street Food Village are 30 minutes after last entry. This is to ensure you have plenty of time to enjoy your food and the rest of the show 😊
GlasGLOW is card only! No cash will be accepted – please, plan for this when coming to the event.

We don’t have any strobe lights, but due to the number of lights along the route which may flash, change colour and move, it could be unsafe at times for anyone affected by photo-sensitive epilepsy.
We also use special effects to create the appearance of smoke and mist – these are all water-based effects which cause no respiratory issues.
It’s a busy show and there are some areas with fire so please keep a close eye on wee ones at all times!
Zombies will not approach guests and are viewed from safe distances, but we encourage interaction with our zombies!
