    Three courses of good choices in food plus a cocktail each for two set in a historically beautiful old building in central Edinburgh all at an excellent price - what is there not to like? Our server (sorry didn’t get his name) followed the initial welcoming smile from the Maitre D with his own smiling welcome. His service was quick and efficient, checking up that we were satisfied with everything. Our only very slight criticism was the seats we were put at- armchairs! Which were comfortable but for us too low to reach the table easily. From this experience we now would ask to be seated elsewhere in future.

    We took our inlaws out for dinner and were impressed with the quality of the food and service. All three courses were lovely, and the cocktails were a nice treat. Service was prompt, but took account of one of our party requiring a little more time. The place was fairly busy, even on a Tuesday, but we were never rushed and didn't feel in any way second-class for using a voucher. Would definitely go here again.
