Leak from ceiling at entrance, warning sign in place.
Entertainment on Saturday night could be heard in room.
Large room with loch view, tired old decor
Fire alarm twice on first night then again next morning and next night, reception advised that it was faulty ?? does this mean faulty that it wont sound if there was an actual fire, bit concerning.
Breakfast did not have much vegetarian selection, eg no mushrooms, also no porridge

It was a lovely hotel. The entertainment on Saturday night was a bonus. Warm welcome and clean. Suited us perfectly.

The cleanliness of the rooms needs to be looked. Spider webs everywhere and a bit like Fawlty Towers with the wiring. The electric shower wasn’t even sealed and was difficult to work.

This was an excellent wee break. Staff excellent and friendly. Food was good and room very comfortable with a lovely view.
The only downside was having to run the gauntlet of the smokers at the main entrance. Most unpleasant as was the mess they left behind. Perhaps a designated smoking area well away from the door with a cover and bins would be necessary.

There are some amazing views to be had at this fine hotel. We have been here many times before and always enjoy the food and the views. The staff are all great, very friendly and helpful.
The only thing that spoiled this trip was very poor Wi-Fi. It might not be a big deal for some but for us it's most important to have good Wi-Fi. We have a high spec laptop but despite this we were waiting ages for a page to load every time we tried to use it.
A member of staff rebooted the modem on our floor when we complained which we appreciated but unfortunately it didn't make much difference. We were told that the hotel was very busy and that was likely the reason the Wi-Fi was slow.
This would be a consideration for us for any future visit.
Would have given 5 stars but for this.

This was our 4th visit to the Arrochar Hotel, it is a very scenic location, with plenty of parking and is easy to get there.

The first room we were given the window would not close. The second room was comfortable and had a nice view of the loch.

I went to the hotel with my sister and elderly mother. The hotel staff were very polite and friendly. The room was a bit dated but was fine, the bathroom was very clean which made me very happy as I was getting over recent surgery. I should have requested a walk in shower as I couldn't get in the bath but this was my error. breakfast was excellent, fresh fruit , Not tinned. Couldn't fault the evening meal. Only problem was the whole hotel and rooms were extremely hot. Lovely wee break.
