Great meal, the most perfect cooked steak ever, the chef even told me how he cooked it. So nice to speak to the chef who clearly is still in love with the demands of the job, cant fault anything. All courses were of a high standard and executed with great presentation. Will be back soon.

The ITISON deal was worth it and the food , Staff and building were excellent.
It was a very quiet evening so very little ambience.

What a fantastic way to spend a windy Saturday afternoon!
We were greeted warmly and seated quickly.
Water and a welcome drink was served immediately, and most enjoyable the fizz was too!
We ordered and relaxed. Our starters were ham hock terrine with piccalilli and scallop with sea foam and crab salad. The terrine was delicious as was the bread served with it, but the piccalilli was the star. My husband, who doesn’t like piccalilli, devoured it! My scallops were beautifully cooked, both the scallop and the coral, which takes care and skill.
We both had the lamb rump, which was soft and succulent with a side of minted potatoes, a lovely dish.
Pudding was rum and raisin cake for me and tastes of hazelnut for my husband, both were very good.
Everything was beautifully presented!
My only observations - not complaints - are that I would have preferred a little more seasoning on the scallop and whilst I like plates to be heated when serving hot food the main course plates were so hot, it cooked the lamb on a little. However these are only my preferences.
I look forward to another visit!
