I travelled with my two children and enquired about a family room. Could I have a double and two singles? No. Could I have adjoining rooms? No, we don't have them?
Not the best of starts.
Check-in was a tad slow. We were ten minutes early but others seemed allowed in.
Bedroom was adequate but as anticipated, sharing a small double bed with a child wasn't ideal. I visit Dundee quite often and a rival hotel in an old jute mill up the road seems to be more accomodating.
The breakfast was pretty good though maybe more vegetarian/ vegan options could be available and/ or advertised.
Hotel seems geared towards business community more. There isn't a games room for the kids and while the pool is a welcome resource, times with children are limited. Little things like board games for families seemed absent.
The hotel isn't bad but I was disappointed. Will go elsewhere next time.

Very warm friendly welcome at check-in.
Superb room overlooking the Quay.
Very convenient for city centre attractions, shopping, restaurants and bars and coffee shops.
Excellent if small leisure /Spa facilities
Didn't sample dinner or breakfast but menus look great in a cool setting on ground floor.

It is always a lovely hotel to visit.
The food is excellent and rooms are clean and comfortable
I have a suggestion that the option of using the Prosecco during evening meal would be preferable

Loved it. Had a fantastic time! Beautiful hotel, loved the pool & jacuzzi, pool is quite small but perfect for chilling out. The bedroom was big, lovely big spacious bed and I loved the little extras. Loved having the fridge. The breakfast was very delicious, best hotel breakfast I’ve had.
