Goid location n nice staff.
Except
The barman went to change the barrell for 2 pints.
Us and a foreign gentleman.
He never re appeared n neither did the pints so after about what seemed like an age,by which time another member of staff appeared, they opted for something else.
Asked for a river view which would have cost extra but ended up in a back room with no view.
The itison offer was a good deal.
Would only go again with similar pricing and try for a river view.

The Columba Hotel was welcoming with friendly staff. It was Clean , comfortable and in a central location.
Breakfast was excellent with a variety of hot and cold food available.
We stayed 2 nights and have no complaints. We’ll definitely return.

Stayed for one niight on bed breakfast and dinner basis. Bonus was a drink each before dinner which was unexpected. Our bedroom was comfortable although a little small but had everything we needed. The dinner menu was very limited and prices a little high compared to our allowance which was our only small complaint. Breakfast was very good and service from all ther staff was excellent.

I expected a Grand Hotel, so no, not what I expected. 1st impressions from the outside, their was broken windows and rusted old paint chipped iron and dull dirty bricks and moss. I expected the room to be more spacious. The corridors and stairs were uneven and very creaky. There were doors slamming very loudly (could these be adjusted with a soft close or something? Because they all spring shut very loudly) all through the night as people came and went from their rooms. We had no hot water for most of our 2nd day which interfered with our plans as we're unable to wash hair etc. Once we had asked to speak to the manager we were given access to another room briefly late afternoon for the bathroom only.

The hotel is perfectly situated next to the river and very close to the main bridge over the river. The welcome was warm and everyone was helpful. The complimentary drinks voucher was very welcome. The room was a little dated but was clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was adequate but could have been better, the eggs were cold and congealed and the breakfast room wasn't very warm.
However, the deal is worth going for if you want a break in Inverness, which is a lovely city

Clean but very dated, single glazed windows in the room & bathroom, extremely chilly. People wearing jackets & coats in the restaurant at dinner & at breakfast. Comfy bed & pillows, low water pressure in the shower. Breakfast poor quality, nothing topped up at the buffet. Disappointing stay.

Very central location on the riverside.
Our second stay at Columba Hotel, as previously staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.
Room was very comfortable and breakfast had everything required and more.
Already contemplating another visit.

The breakfast was cold, and the breakfast room and bar area was freezing, whereas the upstairs' area was too hot. Reception staff was not very friendly. Our bedding was ripped and asked for a replacement only to come back to the room and all that was done was a blanket put on top. There is no parking. The shower was not powerful and only trickled out water and took about 5 mins to heat up. The hotel was full therefore we could not get another room. This hotel is very dated and requires a full overhaul, would not recommend. This is my first time writing a bad review for Itison in all my years using vouchers.

The negatives of this hotel as it is tired but having said that the bed was comfy and the room quiet. Great for a one or two night stay!
