I bought the 5 Tapas, rice or Nan with 2 glasses of wine deal and it was superb. From the warm welcome, stunning decor and a free mini starter of spiced mushroom soup, we were really looking forward to our food and it didn’t dissapoint.
Alloo Saag, Chicken Pakora, Garlic chilli chicken, Lamb Kadhai and Lamb Bhoona were all delicious. We added a plain Nan and were given a gulag jam in and ice cream to share free. Will definitely return

Not the first time we've visited the Green Gates Cafe and as usual the food was really lovely, unfortunately the service wasn't as high a standard as the food and it wasn't busy at all,we were ready to order desserts but because the waiter didn't come to take our order we got the bill and left

I did enjoy The Green Gates Cafe. However, the experience would have been greatly improved if someone could take charge of the service given to customers.
On both occasions I have visited this could have been so much better and has let the venue down.

The tapas choices were very varied and each dish we chose was so tasty. The wine with the meal was a generous pour. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, will definately return.

Glad we chose the tapas deal - love to try lots of different dishes. Enjoyed them all, but the star was the mutton rara. Meat in a mince sauce sounds mad, but was a real treat!

The service was great
The wine not stupidly expensive unlike so many places now
Had not been for a couple of years but need to go back real soon

From the outside I wasn’t too sure but Green Gates Cafe was lovely, a great variety of tapas which was very filling. The house white wine was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful.
