Plan was to stay for a single night but due to the relaxing stay, excellent food and service, we extended our stay to a second night. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience, location and food.

This is a small hotel with very helpful & friendly staff. The room we had was really large with a beautiful bathroom including separate bath & shower. It was lovely & quiet despite being near a main road. Rooms on the 2nd floor may be smaller. Food was of a high standard. Only negative was that bar area was quite small & was noisy when we were there. A few small issues with room but nothing too major.

Unique hotel with fun extras such as the outdoor pods, pizza oven and bar. Everything was great on arrival our room was huge with a roll top bath. The food was amazing with a great selection for dinner and breakfast. The staff where all helpful and friendly especially as we had our dog with us. Would recommend it for a short break and like to go back in the summer months.

Lovely place to stay with great food. A few small issues which could be easily remedied. Our room - The Wee Loft - had some cobwebs, fallen mortar on the window sill. The shower tray sealant was mouldy. The shower assembly was broken (but it still worked perfectly). The toilet roll holder wasn't affixed to the wall properly. The toilet brush was rusty. There was no hand soap, only shower gel. The bar - the cocktails were lovely and reasonably priced. Not all spirits listed on the bar menu were available - the very limited selection of malt whisky's was disappointing. We needed to go and find staff to serve us on a couple of occasions. The staff were really lovely though.

Really enjoyed our stay - bedroom and en-suite bathroom were very spacious - comfy bed - loved the bath in the en-suite - nice atmosphere in the bar and dining room with 20’s/30’s music that made the experience very unique - 5 course tasting menu with paired wines was excellent - a tasty and generous portioned breakfast rounded things off nicely - and running throughout the entire stay was really friendly staff that provided excellent service.
