Had previously bought itison afternoon tea voucher for friends mum, and they liked it. Have been to cafe before. Planned breakfast out. Was nice and quiet. Ordered spinach Benedict and coffee. Was really nice. Staff friendly. Bought large biscuits for my youngest too.
We might come back for toastie etc. As both been homeless in our lives etc it's a good place to support and was really nice and quiet.
Only downside was toilet issues in accessible toilet, toilet roll holder off wall, and broken which made me upset as had to call for help. But went to St James Quarter to use toilet.

I have been here many times, staff very pleasant.
Takes time to explain what the voucher entitles you to.

The afternoon tea from start to finish was lovely.
Great relaxed atmosphere, very attentive staff.
For the price i paid it was great value for money. One person was vegetarian and their sandwiches were served on a separate plate. In the centre of Edinburgh so perfect for travel links and shopping.
Lovely, plentiful savoury and sweet food.
Maybe only letdown was the cream for the scones was from a can.
