Stayed for 1 night at this hotel. The location was beautiful and the room was comfortable and cosy. However, the food is extremely expensive, we paid £25 each for a bowl of pesto pasta and £13 for 3 scoops of ice cream. We enjoyed our stay but not sure we would return given how much the food is and there isn’t anywhere else to go nearby for dinner.

Lovely atmospheric hotel, with brilliant staff and excellent food. Hotel was spotlessly clean. We will head back later this year.

From arriving to leaving everything was first class, accommodation excellent, food to a very high standard and staff friendly and experienced

Not what we expected. Cleaning standards and food standards require to be improved to be a 5 star. Pricing particularly of drinks extortionate.
Beautiful building, great location and friendly staff.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dunalastair. We have been on a few occasions and it didn't disappoint.

Fabulous location, stunning boutique hotel with great staff but food average and no cocktail menu which was disappointing.

Dunalastair Hotel Suites looks as fresh as it did when it opened many years ago. The room was spacious with a large on suite bathroom containing a walk in shower. There was also a small kitchen area with a fridge, small sink and coffee machine as well as tea making facilities. The bed was comfy although a tad warm, the duvet was a bit heavy for the spell of warm weather being experienced. There is a lovely courtyard to sit for drinks or snacks with ample outdoor seating.. internally there is a large lounge area beside the bar. The on site restaurant provided a good breakfast with plenty of choices as well as providing delicious evening meals. The hotel is with the square at Kinloch Rannoch and is surrounded with awesome scenery. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside of my stay finding there was no hot water for a shower mid afternoon after I returned from climbing nearby Shielhallion . But overall a lovely stay and well worth a visit.
