Went for afternoon tea - the staff were friendly and attentive but we were a bit shocked at how boring and bland the afternoon tea was. 3 small, finger sandwiches on boring white bread each; a fruit & plain scone that looked bought in & not home made; and then some mini cakes - again looked bought in! Most good afternoon teas have a selection of savouries - not just bland, white bread sandwiches - and make some attempt to present the afternoon tea in an attractive manner. The staff were good but would not return for the food!

The quality, quantity and selection of food was just right, and the setting was lovely for a relaxing afternoon.

We had a very professional welcome on arrival. The chap explained every thing and how it worked. Our Afternoon Tea was really enjoyable and the staff were attentive but not too intrusive. Due to this experience we will definitely be back. Thank you 😊

The goodies were not all sandwiches. The was an interesting little meat-filled roll and a small bruschetta. Scones were nice and cake selection not over-sickly sweet.
Staff were attentive and brought fill-ups of tea.

When we arrived they claimed we had not booked for afternoon tea when clearly we had. We then only received one sandwich between two of us. And honestly felt it was not worth the money paid for what was meant to be a lovely day out. We certainly wont book this again as there is better value options all around this area.
