As a family of 5 we used two Itison vouchers and bought an child's meal. The staff member who initially took our order was very curt and unfriendly to say the least. The food quality was nothing to shout but the Itison discount compensated for that. I've have been annoyed if I'd paid full price. The sausages and mash meal, in particular, was poor. The entire thing was served in a giant Yorkshire pudding, with the chips on top and the sausages on top of those. The whole thing was covered in so much gravy that it essentially turned to mush and much was left uneaten. My son's order was wrong so he had to wait for his chips. No drink was offered despite that being included in the menu. We had to ask later, after he had tried to eat the rest of his meal. The sausages were honestly disgusting and were not eaten. We spoke to staff at the end and they - to their credit - removed it from our bill. Overall, a fairly underwhelming experience which will not be repeated.

A huge amount of good food in a nice Scottish pub.

We had steak and ale pie, mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables all smotheted with delucious gravy.. A huge portion, not for small appetites.
Friendly attentive staff too.

Busier than expected for a mid week early evening meal, but couldn't fault the service and food was delicious. Wine list provided a good choice.
