Good points
Cakes were nice
Staff member that looked after our table was really good and got some nice plain cucumber sandwiches for my daughter (5 year old)
Bad points
Couple of the sandwiches must have been lying out as the bread had went stale/hard
The music was horrendous
The music was soooo loud it made it impossible to have a conversation with the person sitting next to you
Half way through our time there a DJ entered the scene and turned the already horrendously loud music up even louder …. NOBODY likes that music man …. Let alone when you’re trying to have a nice afternoon tea ……
We ended up wolfing down our food and drinks so we could get out of there and prevent permanent hearing damage - Either be a bar/club OR a place that does afternoon tea …. You can’t successfully be both.

Nice place and really great staff. Very welcoming. Cocktail teapot was tasty but question how much alcohol was in it. Tasted a bit watery. Cake stand was full with nice sandwiches and scones but cakes were a wee bit disappointing. Overall our score was between 3 and 4 stars.

We had a lovely afternoon tea. The food was lovely and the staff were very helpful and courteous. The furniture is the only thing I would change as it is very dated.

Went a few weeks ago and enjoyed it so went back yesterday for my friend’s birthday. I asked for no chocolate as we were off it for Lent and we weren’t disappointed in the non chocolate selection we got. Sandwiches and scones are lovely too.

We enjoyed our experience at St Judes until we saw the menu. It stated Afternoon tea Sunday to Thursday £25.95 as walk in and £29 Friday and Saturday. We paid Itison £29 and used the voucher on a Thursday. We cant see anywhere how we got any sort of deal from buying this deal from yourselves. I took a pbotograph of the menu incase you need proof.
