Dated and old fashioned. Rooms were dark and dingy and felt old and in need of renovation. Had to be moved multiple times due to various problems. Breakfast was awful and no hot drinks available other than filter coffee and tea.

This hotel exceeded our expectations the room was spacious with great views, the food in the restaurant both evenings was to a very high standard both in terms of quality and presentation. All members of staff are to be commended for their enthusiasm and the level of service provided

Have visited many times before and love this hotel. However this experience was spoiled by the room, it was in the annex newer part of the building and the walls were very thin you could hear every door shutting and noise on the corridor.
The staff and service were great and we chose to eat in the conservatory area which was lovely.

Had nice overnight stay at Peebles Hydro .
Staff were excellent,our dinner was good and room was basic but nice .
Morning swim in the spa area was great and nice to see lane swimming available for those who like to train .
Over all a lovely overnight stay .

The room we were allocated was small and at the back of the building. It was fairly well appointed but dark and got very hot. The building is so huge that we frequently got lost in the maze of corridors going to and from our room. The food was awful, particularly breakfast. None of the food appeared to be freshly cooked and was overpriced for what it was. When I went for breakfast at 8 o’clock there were 3 cold, hard, congealed eggs left in the buffet warmer. I thought I’d go for the continental option the following day but the choice was processed cheese slices and salami. I wouldn’t stay at Peebles Hydro again.

Hotel was lovely and great for small kids with the pool, park, chickens, alpacas, etc! Most of the staff couldn’t have been nicer. Would recommend
