Glen Mhor is situated next to the river with lovely walks on both dides.

The hotel is a row of Victorian houses containing en suite rooms which are really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff are lovely and friendly.
The food is first class and served in the Waterside restaurant next to the hotel. The reception area is in another building where you have the Tap Room ie the bar with seating and next to the reception there is further seating. You can tour the hotels own brewery for around £20, it is next to the bar.
Across the river via foot bridge is Eden Court which has a theatre, restaurant and other social events.
I would not recommend the hotel for people with mobility problems as it would be a bit of a walk into the high street. There are also stairs in each house if allocated a room upstairs and there is no lift.
Excellent accommodation with room upgrade x

The hotel was more than expected, especially since we got a room upgrade from Classic to a suite. The service was exceptional with staff being ever so friendly. Meals were wonderful and tasty. Definitely make a return trip

Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Been a few years since we last stayed and Hotel has moved on in size, big time.
We never had a chance to eat dinner there, but breakfast was really good and plentiful.
Look forward to going back for a future stay.

A wonderful 2 night stay in Felstead room overlooking the river - beautifully decorated and extremely spacious. Location is excellent for all attractions and the town centre.

This was our 3rd time at this hotel and it didn't disappoint. The room overlooked the river and was very comfortable. Bed was very comfortable and the room was warm and nicely decorated. The only issue was that the toilet is too close to the sink. Would recommend a light near the mirror on the dressing table.
A comfortable stay, well located by the riverside and close to the town

Generally an enjoyable 2 night stay. The hotel is well located next to the river and a short walk from the town.
We were told on check-in that we were too early despite arriving after the 3pm check- in time per our booking - apparently check-in should be 4pm, not as stated on our booking confirmation. They did however overcome the problem satisfactorily.
The hotel has parking but since our last stay with them they have introduced a £12 per day parking charge - not impressed! This would possibly stop me from booking again.
Overall the room was good and meals at the restaurant also good.
