I gave this voucher as a Christmas gift to friends However as a result of illness in the family they were unable to make original booking but the Isle of Glencoe unsympatheticaly refused to accommodate them in any way with an alternative
Having found myself in similar situation in the past when booked at Nethybridge Hotel was treated sympathetically an offered another date having simply to share pin code on voucher with them
Obviously there was no legal requirement for Isleof Glencoe to help out but extremely shortsighted of them in terms of goodwill and potential futurebookings
Could have been better

Was disappointed with the hotel. Bed was extremely hard as were the pillows. Breakfast was good but choice for evening meal was very limited. Staff were lovely which is why I have given the average review. I won't be using it again.
Lovely overnight stopover

We found all the staff to be very welcoming and helpful. The room was very comfortable and dinner and breakfast were excellent with a good variety of dishes.
It was a very disappointing experience.

The hotel is very nice and we really liked our room but the restaurant was terrible. Poor food and dreadful service. I ended up having crisps for dinner despite voucher covering my meal. I did message the hotel and the company about this separately but did not even get an acknowledgement.

Having been there lots of times it was as expected. Only thing was the choices on the menu. Would liked steak pie, fish and chips, something not too fancy.
Beautiful setting, food good, pool relaxing

First room we got was VERY noisy, it was above some form of electrical supply room, with constant humming, this was rectified, I was offered another room but had to pay an extra cost for this, room was nice and had a good view, heating system is very complicated and you have to contact reception to control it, staff were nice particularly the waiting staff, food was nice, pool was relaxing, drinks VERY expensive, breakfast was ok, beans cold, coffee cold even replacement coffee was cold, breakfast used to be outstanding at the ""isle of glencoe"" shame its not the same now, some of the hotel needs a upgrading, however, we did have a nice 2 day break, scenery is outstanding, walks are beautiful, hopefully a few things will be rectified and we will be back again

Hotel needs upgrading of floors & doors in public areas, the room where the buffet breakfast was set up is pretty dingy & needs upgraded. Some staff very pleasant others bit off we had a problem re allowance for dinner we booked 2 rooms allowance should have been 4x£30 =£120 they were only going to take £60 off as 1 of the rooms had 1 adult & 2 kids we were being penalised for only having one adult in room although booked 2 adults as that was the only way we could do booking on itison we paid hotel supplement for children & also for an upgrade. After a discussion with the receptionist she eventually submitted & took £120 off. We spent an excess of money on upgrades & food & drinks which we expected to do however felt it inappropriate to not give full dinner allowance off initially. This fortunately didn’t spoil our stay however I think you should be aware that the dinner allowance is not transparent with staff
