Dirty Rooms but good service

On arrival you now have to pay for parking £15 per day. This was not mentioned anywhere when I booked.
Our room was dirty and smelly. We were given another room after I complained and told we didn't have to pay for the upgrade.
The food and service from the staff was good but due to the issues named above we will not be returning.
I would describe it as enjoyable and friendly hotel

I enjoyed my stay in The Arrochar Hotel and would definitely consider staying again. The staff were very helpful and accommodating to requests. A lovely evening, food, comfortable room with view over to one of my favourite mountains, The Cobbler. Great walking. Recommend.

Just returned from a very enjoyable stay at the Arrochar Hotel courtesy of an Itison deal. On arrival the receptionist had all of our details, which made check-in very straightforward. We were given a free upgrade on our room and only had to pay £10 for having a dog with us. The room was clean, warm, comfortable and as described.
The hotel is well located and ideal for walkers or day trips by car. Breakfast was excellent and evening meals were available if required.
Only stayed for two nights but thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Hotel is feeling a bit tired and rundown could do with refreshing and updating the entrance and making it more welcoming and accessible.

We visit the hotel every year. Always a friendly welcome. We enjoyed the food. Breakfast is plentiful. Rooms were clean. Great value.

Our stay was exactly what we wanted. So dog friendly and well setup. We arrived, and the receptionist was super informative regarding breakfast etc. Dogs aren't allowed into breakfast buffet, so he suggested we can grab our food from the buffet and sit in the bar with them. The room was comfortable and as expected for the reasonable price. We didn't have dinner at the hotel but there is a takeaway pizza/chippie right next door which was delicious!
