Nothing fancy

We enjoyed our stay but didn’t feel it was worth the cost. The room was just like any other hotel room with a large price tag. Leisure access was fine. We used the cinema and we had treatments, but did not wish to spend the extra £40pp to access the spa facilities. We chose to eat at a neighbouring restaurant, again to avoid massive expense for a meal at Cameron House itself.
We enjoyed ourselves but just found the whole experience overpriced for what it was, and for that reason we would be unlikely to attend again.

Beautiful room with a stunning view; lovely and clean with little lovely Jo Loves toiletries, cozy robe and of course slippers!! Great food and cocktails at La Vista with water in the room for bedside table. Perfect!
Solo travel seems a chore

Treatment as a solo traveller very different to that when in a couple / group. Ignored by staff on more than one occasion nor provided the same information at check in which was offered to other guests. Took a while to check if room was ready albeit check in was after prescribed time.
Facilities not geared up for flexibility - lobby bar closes at 5pm and you are unable to make a restaurant booking on arrival.
My experience at Cameron Spa was disappointing.

My friend and I had a recent visit to Cameron Spa. This was my friends first visit and she was looking forward to our Rasul Thermal experience. On arrival at reception we were greeted by a member of staff who basically couldn’t be bothered showing us around, luckily I have a good memory and remembered my way about. Furthermore, within the thermal area there was a sauna and showers both out of order and to top it all the rooftop pool was closed due to low temperature. This might be pedantic but even entering at top of stairs the water feature on the signage was switched off. Basically paid £85 (£10 more than last year) for half an experience. It felt like we were treated differently as we were voucher customers, close to expiry therefore customer service lowered.
Disappointing

The rooftop pool was closed, the infrared sauna was closed, the two steam rooms smelt of mould, the whole place looks in dire need of an upgrade. There are signs next to the therma pool advising the floor can be slippy when wet, I was exiting the pool and holding the handrail coming down the stairs but still slipped and now have a huge bruise, luckily I am overweight and have more padding on my thighs but I'm concerned someone older and frailer could have broken a hip. Overall very disappointing
Felt very welcome & the Spa and afternoon tea was excellent.

disappointing spa visit

we arrived to be told the rooftop pool was closed , and out of order. this was what my friend was looking forward to as it was her birthday treat
we went to the pool first and it had metal holding something up on the floor above and unsightly
We went to the middle floor where the sauna is located all the showers were out of service, the infrared sauna was out of service , safety bits missing off the other sauna we went into , most of the lockers didn't work we spent the first 20 mins trying to find one that worked and had to wait on a robe a towels as there was none
It was beyond disappointing, and I should have been informed of all the closures beforehand. a rip off not fir for purpose and when its a gift is a disgrace
absoloutly shocking and should be refunded in full
We had a lovely, relaxing day out for Mothers Day.

From arrival, the grounds were beautiful, the spa entry and members of staff were very helpful. We had phoned ahead as were caught in traffic and they were very understanding. The changing facilities spotless, spa and indoor pool lovely, hydrotherapy pool awesome. Plenty places to sit, but was a quiet day. The downside was that the infinity/rooftop pool was closed, which I was really looking forward to. Would have been nice to know in advance. We had a 2 course meal after and it was delicious. Again, I couldn’t fault the staff. Only given 4 stars due to pool closure.
