Excellent service from all staff. Perfect breakfast with lots of choice. Room cosy & spotlessly clean.. Be good to return in different season to see gardens in bloom.

Staff were excellent but had problem with shower in the room and meal was disappointing. We both chose Lemon Sole which was overcooked and sauce had split and was tasteless.
The venue is lovely but did not live up to its reputation.

Fire in sitting area was out by 8.45pm and no one would restart it
This was our third visit and did not come up to the standards of a 5 star hotel

Really nice relaxing place to go with really helpful staff and super food. Feel the wine is overpriced though. But apart from that excellent.
