Was a disaster from tge beginning last day to use voucher was 31st March. Was meeting my friend on 1st April so when phoning to book asked if I could book for 1st April. Was a definite no . We then asked if we could possibly swap the starter for a dessert Was another definite no. Got the wrong wine. Food not great. Definitely wont be back

We arrived about ten min early but out table was not ready so was asked to come back at 12 ,we did this ,we were then seated started ok took our drinks order which came ok ,then our order was taken we ordered both courses . Then another couple were seated next to us . About 10 min after us we had our soup delivered at a reasonable pace ,after we finished our soup the couple next to us got theirs . We then waited ages it was only haggis neeps and tatties and we ordered it at the same time as the soup ,then the couple who came in ten min after us finished their soup it was cleared away and five min later the server came over with two haggis neeps and tatties we thought finally.,but no it was served to couple next to us they even stated we had been waiting a lot longer than them ,it server said I have laid it down so must be served to you ,she then said she would chase ours up ,so not the best service.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 course lunch with a beautiful bottle of blush wine. I would definitely like to return and try some more of their lovely food.

Disappointed with the food choices, and o can normally, eat most things. The biggest disappointment was the table, we booked for 2 people and were squashed into an alcove.

Had to ask waitress to take our order as we were being ignored and people who were seated after us were served first. We felt invisible.
Took 50 mins to receive our starters (sourdough bread and a terrine), food was good but poor service and long wait was disappointing and were late for our next activity.
A very pleasant experience with excellent food & service.
