I enjoyed my stay but I paid for (as per voucher) Dinner, Fizz Bed and Breakfast for 2 so was very surprised when I had to pay for my dinner minus the £25 allowance for dinner. The sentence stating that was well down the conditions. I found that very disappointing as it should have been made clear at time of booking.

This is a wedding venue. Casual guests are incudental and this was evident in the service, attention and room quality.

We were disappointed with the dinner menu and my breakfast bacon was inedible. Missed the buffet.

This is a beautiful hotel. The bedrooms are all different but each with lots of interesting features. The restaurant and public rooms are roomy and very elegant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Balbirnie House. The rooms were stunning and the rest of the hotel was tastefully decorated and styled.

The welcome was warm, the hotel as warm and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Good selection of food and wine which was reasonably priced. Staff were also lovely. Lovely fire in the lounge.
