As a family of 6 adults and 1 child, we had a lovely 2 course Sunday lunch. Great value for money with the Itison voucher. Children under 3 eat free too. Lovely surroundings.
My only negative would be that it took quite a while for our food and drinks to be served.
Food was served warm not hot. presentation left much to be desired

Great Sunday Roast in pleasant surroundings

Took advantage of our 2 course Sunday Roast at this beautiful old Country Hotel. Arrived about 15 minutes so was asked to have a drink in the bar next door & go through to the dining room at our allotted time. The bar is a lovely room but in need of refurbishment. Once in dining room the waiting staff were very attentive & pleasant & nothing was too much bother. There was a good atmosphere with most of the tables occupied. Food was lovely with a good choice. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience

Couldn't fault our experience from start to finish. Lovely fresh veg, succulent meats, and thoroughly enjoyed my dessert too... Will certainly come back for an other visit..
Only downside was the potholes in the drive up to the hotel

All of us tucked into our Sunday Roast with relish. Sweet delicious. I had the line gin jelly and it was absolutely perfect to have after the very scrumptious main course

I feel we were treated as second class citizens as we were put in a dark and dingy room.
We got the wrong order of our main course and when we got our correct order, some of the beef was virtually raw.
This is the second supposedly highly rated hotel where we have gone with itison vouchers and felt like second class citizens.
