Gorgeous Inn with lovely staff and delicious food. Added a superior room supplement, which was well worth the money with beautiful views over the loch. Will definitely be back in better weather.

We enjoyed our two nights stay at the Village Inn and loved the atmosphere and Christmas decor. The staff are helpful, friendly and welcoming and the hotel is warm and comfortable. Food choices were good from the alacarte menu but not a great choice of dishes from the Itison menu for the the first night.

We love coming here. It's became our family tradition to visit in December to start off Christmas. The staff are always welcoming, the bar is so cosy and has a lovely atmosphere. Classic pub food done really well and a great breakfast.
The rooms are comfortable and clean and have everything you need.

Great room which was well supplied, warm and comfortable bed. Breakfast delicious and plentiful. Lots of selection for food and well prepared. Superb views across Loch Long.

My daughter and I go every year - usually at the end of November. We love the relaxed and olde worlde feel of the Village Inn and this year we upgraded to a different room and had a great view of the mountains together with a fantastic big bath - the shower was superb as well. There is to be a change of management so we hope the new people don’t spoil the feel of the Inn. The hospitality of all the staff is very good.

The hotel is very dog friendly the room was spacious clean and comfortable the tv unfortunately only had 2 channels and no member of staff could resolve this issue. Breakfast was nice with plenty of choice the evening menu was a bit overpriced.The hotel seemingly is being taken over by new management so hopefully they can make some small changes to revamp
