Having paid for 6 people (all beginners) for the ice skating I had to pay another £30 for the ice aids. We were there 3 years ago and it was fabulous. The kids were toasting marshmallows and had great fun but this year was very disappointing as no fire pit and different location. The ice was lumpy and not looked after.

since the ice rink had moved location on the grounds of the hotel we felt it lost some of its magic. The drinks hut was moved and part of one of the restaurants on the grounds rather at the entrance. Also the ice wasnt cleaned up in between sessions and a lot of snow on the ice, didn't make it easy for people skating around

Please don’t charge for the skating aids….the ice skating is a cost as it is without extra add on for the kids to be more confident skating.

By the time we got on the ice, the surface was badly worn, with cracks, chips and debris throughout, making it difficult for both children and adults to skate.
The extra £5 charge for under 6's to use skating aids feels excessive, bringing the cost to £15 per child. For families with more than one young child, this quickly adds up.
There was also confusion around skate sizes. We asked for smaller skates for my small child and were initially told there would be an extra charge, but this was later changed after speaking to another member of staff.
Staff appeared very young and unsure of procedures, and the rink seemed to be unmanned, which raises safety concerns. The rink itself is very small and overcrowded, with too many people on the ice at once.
That said, the kids did enjoy themselves, which helped, though they were understandably unaware of the concerns we had as adults.

This was our second year visiting Crieff Hydro Pantomime which was enjoyable and although not as professional as a city panto, as a family we did enjoy it. Unfortunately, due to the closure of the old Winter Gardens, The Hub, where you enter the Melville Hall where the Panto is held, was jam packed and there is insufficient seating there now anyway. There were queues to try and buy a coffee so we gave up as there were no tables or chairs free. As locals, we really miss the old Winter Gardens! Thank you though for bringing a Panto to Crieff.

Booked for 5pm, its a group, no not private meeting with santa. The santa show lasted 15/20 mins, it was great. But... then every child had to go up get their photo with santa, there was roughly 30 kids, meaning it could take upto an hour waiting if your child was last on this list. It didnt state on of this on the description. Also for privacy, not every parent wants their childs name called out and photographed in front of a room full of strangers. I know myself and other parents were not happy about this.
We loved the show, santa was great but the waiting was boring and interfered wity dinning and panto plans.
For that reason, I wouldn't book again.

Only my husband was able to attend the Panto - which he says was very good! I was busy, in the freezing cold reception area for over an hour, trying to sort out our booking that Reception had mucked up! Only when I phoned Murraypark hotel did they accept they’d messed me about! Our room was absolutely freezing also and the bathroom handle was falling off. We left this disaster of a holiday camp an hour after check in, cancelling a future break at the same time!

I’ve taken my daughter to these Christmas pantomimes for the last few years but won’t be back after this one. Such a let down this year. Poor performances, actors forgetting their lines and people walking out halfway through. Too many innuendos and the whole showy lasted about 65 minutes.
