I took my mum to the Willow Tearooms for Mother's Day and it was perfect, the exhibition was really interesting, fun and interactive and had a lot packed in. Some of the exhibits are not in use at the moment but it didn't take away from the rest of it was great. The actual afternoon tea was lovely and really nice. The prosecco was some of the best I've had it was so good! Staff were lovely and very friendly, overall it was the perfect afternoon, thank you!

Mum and I had a fantastic afternoon tea! All the treats were delicious but best of all was the service we got from the staff, would 100% recommend!
Lovely and staff excellent. Enjoyed the museum.

Same again.
Very good except for the fruit scones

We were given a table on the first floor of the tea rooms. The waitress was welcoming and served us a nicely presented afternoon tea on a three tiered plate stand, with a glass of fizz and choice of various teas.
On the bottom level, the haggis sausage roll was tasty and went very well with the potato gratin. The sandwiches were good too. Similarly the top level of tiny cakes was delicious. The only disappointment was the centre level of 2 fruit scones, 2 plain scones, jam and cream and 2 shortcake biscuits. We tried the fruit scones first and they were rock hard and dry. The plain scones were soft and delicious. Made by different cooks, or were the fruit scones beyond their 'eat by' date? The waitress was apologetic and offered to replace them. We were surprised to receive a whole fresh centre plate. The fruit scones were hot, but still hard and inedible. However the 2 fresh plain scones with extra jam and cream made up for this.
We were offered fresh pots of tea as we went along. Altogether it was a good experience in elegant surrounding and very good value with the Itison coucher.
Not the best

We were seated upstairs in a room by ourselves , while others were downstairs having lunches etc so there was no atmosphere until eventually other people with vouchers arrived, the young waiter was pleasant and helpful, the scones and cakes were very nice however the savoury choice was poor to say the least and not very pleasant to eat
Beautiful afternoon tea and intriguing museum visit.

We began with a visit to the museum, which was intriguing and very well curated. We had allowed ourselves about 40 minutes, but could have spent longer.
We then had a great afternoon tea, trying four different teas between the two of us.
Pleasant surroundings, attentive staff and very nice afternoon tea.

Lovely experience, afternoon tea with extras!

The afternoon tea was delicious, very tasty and plenty of savouries, scones and sweets. Lovely haggis sausage roll. Tea choices were different and it was great to try something new - try as many as you like. The Miss Cranston and MacKintosh/MacDonald exhibition is excellent, transporting you back in time to experience their lives, business, art and architecture. It was fascinating to learn about them and what Glasgow was like over a hundred years ago. The exhibits are fantastic and fun and the artwork is beautiful. Staff in the tearoom and the exhibition shop were friendly and attentive, their service was excellent. We spent the whole afternoon there - loved it!
Quality has went downhill

The tearoom was very cold, I’ve been numerous times before for afternoon tea and the quality was always excellent. This time the savoury items were substandard and some of the bread stale, as were the scones. We didn’t realise that the till/payment area was not downstairs as previously and when we were on our way down the stairs (having previously sent the voucher anyway) to go to the till to show it, a waiter ran after us shouting that you cannot “dine and dash” hugely embarrassing and completely unnecessary.
