Very pleasant afternoon tea

The receptionist was very pleasant, as was our waiter. Coffee was served immediately with the food tiers arriving a few minutes after. There was a lovely selection of sweet and savoury food. Had to take a few bits home! I really liked the snug area we were sitting in - beautifully decorated and a calm atmosphere.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS

absolutely disgusting to sum up...steam room not working and full of mould and never seen a mop since it opened...workmen all over the place... wrote and requested a refund but they wouldn't even acknowledge my complaint...spoiled a day and wasted an hour and a half each way...
Treatments were amazing, spa facilities were very tired

Overall we enjoyed our experience. The treatments, the treatment rooms, the staff giving the treatments and the relaxation room were amazing, and afternoon tea was lovely.
However I felt it was let down by the condition of the changing rooms, pool, jacuzzi and steam room (which hadn't been turned on until I went to reception to ask). The changing rooms and showers in particular are in dire need of a refurb, as is the steam room. We didn't use the gym so can't comment on that.
Charming hotel with lovely staff

Lovely older style hotel, but very well kept. We stayed on the first floor in a classic double room annd the rooms are so spacious and the bed is king size so that was a bonus. We found the changing decor and carpets throughout the hotel helpful to differentiate where we were as it is large building. We enjoyed an afternoon tea and also had a back massage, Sophie was our masseuse and she was amazing, neither of us had to tell her any problem areas she knows her stuff. We also enjoyed use of the pool, jacuzzi and steam room.everything was clean and the soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion available in all areas of the hotel is extra helpful, and the highland soaps smell lovely! Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice and lactose/gluten free options are available too. Would love to return for a longer stay and explore more of Pitlochry.

The hotel itself is lovely. The spa was lovely too. We had a really nice afternoon tea. My only criticisim was the hairdryer in the ladies changing room. It is very poor & a bit disappointing to be honest
Great value swim/gym Afternoon Tea

We enjoyed using all the facilities the spa offered in the deal. The hotel has a lovley vibe and the staff were very helpful. The pool and sauna was great. The Afternoon Tea was delicious. The showers in the changing rooms needed a little attention and another changing area might be helpful. We were lucky that there were only 2 other folk there otherwise it would have been a bit crammed . But loved the overall experience .

Spa treatment excellent, work being done in changing room which was a bit disappointing, and run down looking. Afternoon tea; great selection and plenty of food. We’re not offered the cocktail, which we were not too bothered about. Would have asked if we had wanted it.
Very disappointing

Unfortunately we did not enjoy our experience at all. The changing area was very dirty and rundown, dirty toilet, clumps of hair in shower, clothing lying around. Pool area is poorly kept, the jacuzzi temperature was too high to use and we did report it to reception as did other guests. The quality of afternoon tea was very poor, dried up produce, rock hard scones, definitely not worth what I paid. The whole experience was a total letdown from start to finish.
