Booked a flight of wine and charcuterie board. The staff were very knowledgeable about both the wine and food pairing.

The choice of food and wine is good and Alex is very knowledgeable on the wines. Have been to this restaurant on numerous occasions. It's nice and relaxing there is never any rush to get your table back.

Unfortunately the reception was unfriendly from the male assistant. He insisted on hovering over the table whilst I found the code for the itison voucher and given the poor connection it took a while so I had to suggest he came back. He said we should have advised when booking we were bringing a dog. I have never been asked to do this at a venue who claim to be dog friendly. We had to ask for a bowl of water for the dog when this is usually offered in a truly dog friendly venue.
When it came to ordering the unfriendly chap insisted we order our desert at the same time as the main course. It felt like having a voucher meant we were lesser mortals and not worthy of customer service.
Finally the quality of the pasta meals were mediocre.
We will definitely not be back 😕
