We have been at the hotel a few times and as always we weren’t disappointed. Absolutely ticks all the boxes great staff, very clean rooms, excellent food and lovely relaxing couches around the reception area. We will definitely be back.

Well worth upgrading room . It would have been good to have an umbrella for the table outside of room as it was a sun trap. The food was lovely and we will return

It was good value for what we paid and the reception, restaurant and bar areas were lovely. However, the room was very tired with old scuffed furniture and there were stains on the carpet.
Our evening meal was really lovely, but the breakfast was disappointing. There were no options to choose from other than the buffet cooked breakfast, with big queues all over. It would have been nice to be able to choose something healthier or even have eggs cooked to order rather than just scrambled eggs that looked like they had been there for days. And the tea and coffee was only available from an urn.
It was a good deal for what we paid, but I’ve had better deals with nicer accommodation elsewhere.

Great area in bar/ restaurant/ outside area.
The weather was great so sat outside in the evening and relaxed with a drink.
Very attentive and friendly staff in all areas.

Not worth the money or the upgrade

Very disappointed with the hotel. Emailed my concerns but haven't had a reply.
I arrived at the hotel, told there was only half 8 for dinner, I was to book in advance - wasn't told this when booking.
Got to my room which I paid for an upgrade - didn't see what I actually paid an extra £50 for the room was a basic room.
It was also the last room in the corridor - beside the Riverside Suite. Don't get why it was so far away - I am 8 months pregnant so that wasn't ideal.
The shower door wasn't on the bottom rails so when you moved it the thing nearly comes off.
Went to go to bed and seen blood on the pillow that was old and wasn't mine - which is disgusting - I have added a photo.
If it wasn't so late and I wasn't shattered I would have left the hotel.
