I’m still feeling the benefit from my 45 minute trip on the Walter Scott on Loch Katrine. The trip is breathtaking and educational . The staff are so friendly and kind. The lunch was delicious. I would recommend this to anyone. I’m delighted.

Well organised. Loch tour was interesting. Soup was lovely, sandwiches nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Some different items in the gift shop.
Stunning, beautiful and enchanting.

Unfortunately once the skipper started his tour guidance, whilst sailing, all of us sitting in the outer part , were all unable to clarify what was being said, apart from the occasional word.
I loved the 2 songs which were played - we heard them crisp and clear, and enhanced the beauty of the Loch.
We saw an Osprey in flight overhead as well. ❤️
A lovely way to spend a day in the Trossachs.

It was a lovely day even in the rain. The sail was great and the commentary was very informative and the scenery amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the cafe was great. The soup was delicious as were the sandwiches and I would recommend the peppermint slice. Plenty of toilets which was good after a long drive to get there but it was worth the drive.
Great day out sailing on the 'Rob Roy' although (slightly) disappointed that we weren't on the 'Sir Walter Scott''!

Lovely sail and very enjoyable soup and sandwich lunch. Not too busy as the weather wasn't the best, All the staff were excellent.
One point to note regarding travel times. We stay on the south side of Glasgow and the journey up to Loch Katrine took us just upwards of 75 minutes and that was without any delays/roadworks!
Not as good as previous

Lovely boat trip on Rob Roy 3. This was a different boat to last year and had a roof which was nice to allow you outside while staying dry (it was raining). Captain gave some good info but didn’t talk all the way through. We were offered blankets and I really appreciated that as it was chilly. It was more the afternoon tea that was lacking. Very basic. I appreciate it’s just a side cafe but I maybe hoped for a little more… when we did this trip last time we had the lunch rather than afternoon tea and I’d go back to that if I did the trip again. Still a very pleasant day out.
Pleasant cruise, with an osprey encounter

Cruise was pleasant. We had the short one which only goes half way up the loch, but we did see an Osprey carrying its fish prey. Commentary on board was informative and amusing.
Soup and sandwich lunch at the cafe was a bit chaotic and slow - and this wasn;t a particularly busy day. Vegetable soup was OK, sandwiches were poor especially the vegetarian option which was just some tomato and salad in cheap supermarket white bread.
