Very good and a nice break at this time of year.

Being a Scottish Highland Hotel, we were very surprised to find out that there was no porridge available at breakfast.
Also we would like to know if the service charge that was included on our final bill is divided between the staff.
A lovely night away.

Really friendly staff, fantastic whisky selection and tasty pizza.
The room was clean and fairly spacious and good variety at breakfast.
Not a lot of places open to eat and drink so was limited to the hotel,

The hotel was nice but as the area was still in winter time mode everything was still closed so therefore no shops or restaurants open so was limited to hotel, room Was comfortable apart from it being on the corner of the building and the bathroom was very cold even with a towel rail being on,and some of the switches in the room had very bright lights which shone when the room was dark and were a bit annoying. The meal we had and the breakfast was good.

Very welcoming staff, great service. Love the efforts to reduce waste & be sustainable.
Room was good, clean & comfortable, had everything we needed.
Breakfast had a variety of homemade items, sourdough, granola, jam, local cheeses, smoked salmon & mackerel, along with bacon and eggs etc.
Lunch & evening menu had good choice of options, everything was delicious & well-presented.
Lovely outdoor space, beer garden if weather permits, fantastic location in centre of Dornoch.
Not hotel's fault but some guests were very noisy in the early morning as they left room & went along corridor!
Cosy and welcoming

Great location in central Dornoch. Cosy, welcoming bar and great breakfast, will stay again.
Only downside was in our comfortable room where the radiator was toasty hot below the window, but the curtains were floor length; so a choice between heating the room on that clod night, or heating the window.
No heating in the rooms through the day.

Staff were very friendly at all times, food and drinks were decent but prices I felt were a bit on the excessive side for a very small town. Overall satisfactory at best.
Excellent, as always

I'm a repeat customer at Dornoch Castle Hotel, using an Itison voucher. Once again, our recent stay was very positive. The hotel is atmospheric and cosy. The staff are unfailingly polite and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The public areas, especially the bar, are beautiful. For a relaxing break in an area of outstanding natural beauty the Dornoch Castle Hotel cannot be beaten.
