This was our second visit to the Plough. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean with everything you need included, the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is ideal for touring that area of the borders. We would definately recommend it.

Best place we have stayed for a long time.
Friendliest staff made us feel so welcome, dinner and breakfast amazing quality. Well stocked bar and various card and board games available. Room spotless and cosy with lovely bathroom.

Really enjoyed our stay in the cosy friendly Plough.
Staff and locals made us very welcome.
There was a great choice of meals to suit all on their menu.

Enjoyed our stay in Scottish Borders at The Plough hotel in Yetholm. Quiet village not too far from lots of places to visit. Cosy clean rooms with ensuite lots of hot water for lovely relaxing bath! Most important for us dog friendly establishment. Friendly helpful staff. Only one thing..... stairs to first floor room a wee bit tricky for our elderly dog.... but she did manage.....not sure if they have ground floor bedrooms....we didn't ask beforehand...... so not their fault.
