Beautiful surroundings, lovely afternoon tea with fantastic service from the boy who saw to us, sorry didn't get his name.
Then went on to use the fully equipped gym, the steam room, jacuzzi and swimming pool.
Great service from the leisure team too.
Would really recommend to anyone for a lovely relaxing day

We were more than happy with the services we received. It was more than what we expected. We had such a lovely day.

Highlight is definitely the staff. So welcoming and friendly. Treatments excellent and relaxation room a treat.
Pool area was a bit on the cool side.
Food was better than expected but still mediocre. Chicken though tasty was dry and chips a bit frazzled.
A bit of side salad would be a bonus.
But still excellent value.

Old run down hotel, rooms and spa was ok but the biggest let down was their restaurant.
Expect very long wait for mediocre food. Breakfast was a disaster, got there with hour before it finished and all items that was left where cold. Waited 30 minutes for sausages and when they arrived, they were raw.
Staff didn’t seem interested for bothered so clearly there is a management problem.
heavenly relaxation

2 spa treatments - massage and facial from Janine who had to put up with my snort as I fell asleep twice once during massage and once during facial! it was just amazing so relaxed and used lovely essential oils. I really needed the chill time after a recent family bereavement.
We then had lunch which was not as good as previous as used to include 2 courses. Now its just the one. However food was good and my friends happy to pay for puddings as extra.
