The place was lovely and clean, the staff from the maintenance team to the reception team were friendly and helpful. Great location just a ten minute walk to most places. The place and staff were vey dog friendly although we felt £20 a night was a bit expensive and £15 a day for parking was expensive but on a whole I would highly recommend.
Lovely hotel close to city centre

We had a great two-night stay at Roomzzz Hotel in York last weekend using an Itison voucher.
We were initially a little concerned about parking, as it mentioned spaces were limited. However, we arrived early and found plenty available—even on a bank holiday Saturday. There are around 50 spaces in total, so it felt more than sufficient.
We arrived before check-in time but were able to pre-check in and make use of the handy lockers to store our luggage. The reception area was a lovely surprise, with complimentary coffee available 24 hours a day, a small shop, and plenty of seating both inside and outside.
Our room was very spacious and clean, with a modern bathroom and excellent water pressure in the shower. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well.
The windows looked out onto the river, so we woke up to the peaceful sound of ducks. It feels like you’re away from the city centre when you step outside into the surrounding greenery and nearby park, yet it’s only a 5–10 minute walk into the centre.
We also discovered a lovely little high street just five minutes’ walk in the opposite direction—Bishopthorpe Road. We’d highly recommend Robinsons Café for breakfast, and The Pig & Pastry is also supposed to be excellent.
This will definitely be top of our list for future stays in York—great location, convenient, and very good value for money.

Had saw Roomzz York frequently on itison. Finally, managed to book and was not disappointed.
We had a stunning spacious river view room, with a lovely well equipped kitchen. We could adjust the air con or room heating which was great. The room was spotless with everything we needed for a 3 day stay. The bed was comfortable and the location was peacefully perfect aiding a great nights sleep. It was great just to relax in the room after a days exploring watching the people and boats go past.
I loved the small quirky things around the hotel and would highly recommend and return again. I will be looking at other Roomzz establishments for any future breaks.

They mentioned in information that supermarket was 3min walk, but was much further, small folding table would have been a bonus. we requested a walk in shower, we got a disabled room, found it quite a distance to walk from the lifts.

Stunning, peaceful location in York by the river. Apartment was very clean and modern, with everything you require for a self catering break. Only a short walk away from the centre of York. Would recommend

The accommodation was very clean with a lovely shower room and plenty utensils and crockery in the kitchen space. We had taken e-bikes with us and were able to access the lift from underground garage straight up to the room and keep them in the room. Perhaps having secure bike space in the garage.
Perfect place to explore York

We upgraded to a family room. It had lots of space and a fully equipped kitchen so perfect for a family break. There's free coffee and hot chocolate all day/ night beside reception and free croissant in the morning. There's a small gym available and also lockers to store your luggage on the day you check out if needed. Great location - quiet but close enough to the centre to explore.

Excellent stay at Roomzzz York. The apartment was clean and had a great shower and had everything you needed for a short stay. Staff were pleasant and helpful and the free coffee machine was an extra bonus. We loved the location and look forward to returning in the future.
