Afternoon tea at the Strathaven hotel was lovely and I would recommend it for value. There was a nice selection of starters with a small cup of soup, taste of sausage roll, two types of sandwich and a filled brioche bun. Then there were two scones with butter, jam and cream and four delightful little cakes each to finish Lots of fresh tea.

Upon arrival, table was ready and were seated fast. Staff were exceptional, very friendly and willing to accommodate a change to the food due to personal preference. Venue is lovely and welcoming. Good value for money.

Soup with small sausage roll. sandwiches and scones with butter jam and cream were very good Very disappointed in selection of cakes Surprised that an extra pot of tea for one was charged separately at £3.60!!

Very nice afternoon tea good variety of sausage rolls, sandwiches,scones,and cakes. Nice glass of Prosecco would definitely recommend.

We had a delicious afternoon tea with lovely food and very pleasant and attentive waiting staff. It was a pleasurable experience and we will go back. The whole ambience was really lovely and there is loads of parking.

The surroundings, hotel and food were lovely. My only complaint was the time it took for them to serve us. We were booked for 1 pm and at 1.40pm still had no food. It was shortly after, that I asked how long the food will take and within a couple of minutes we were being given our food.
Staff very pleasant but thin on the ground when the bar and restaurant were busy.
